The Audio Fest Kerala (AFK) 2024 concluded successfully on August 18th in Thrissur. The event, held at Hotel Pearl Regency, featured a series of insightful seminars on audio technologies
The day kicked off with introductions from attendees and a welcoming address by Mr Krishna Kishore. The first session focused on amplifiers and biasing, presented by Mr. Joshi Liadel. He emphasized the crucial role of proper biasing in achieving the desired class of amplification.
Madhu Kannan a session on speakers, Following lunch, Mr. Nidhin demonstrated PCB design using KiCAD, showcasing the process from start to finish.
In addition to the previously mentioned sessions, the event also featured a presentation on distortion by Prof. Reji Philip. Prof. Philip discussed the various types of distortion that can occur in audio systems, their causes, and their impact on sound quality .The event concluded with a heartfelt thanks speech from the organizers.
AFK 2024 was a fantastic opportunity to learn from industry experts and connect with fellow audio enthusiasts. I was particularly excited to meet many people whom I had known online for years but had never met in person.
